FAQ
(Frequently Asked Questions)
It depends on how much "use" is being put on the vehicle. Normally if the car is used for golf 3 or more times a week, you should have it serviced every 6 months. More specifically, we recommend having your cart serviced by a trained technician every 50 hours or 100 rounds of golf.
You need to do 3 things on a monthly basis:
1. Wash battery tops, battery compartment, underside of vehicle & clean with baking soda/water solution.
2. Keep battery water filled to proper level with distilled water.
3. Check tire air pressure & adjust if necessary
It depends on what make & model of golf car you have. If you have a 48 Volt Club Car, with a round charger DC cord plug, plug it in every time you finish using the vehicle. The car should always be plugged in when it is being parked or stored.
It is best to use distilled water in your batteries to avoid adding minerals that are found in other types of water.
Never use ammonia or alcohol based cleaners on acrylic!
You can normally find cleaners that are safe for acrylic/plastic either at an auto parts store or a hardware store.
Yes, it is a great idea to wax the finish of your golf cart, at least once a year. A good carnauba wax works well.
